All Stars Academy and Early Learning Center, Inc of Newnan, Georgia (ASA) has the honor to be the First Preschool in Georgia recognized by the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs as a NAC Accredited Center. This award acknowledges All Stars Academy and Early Learning Center, Inc as an Early Childhood Program which exemplifies high standards in the Quality Care and Education of young children. The National Accreditation Commission review made particular note of the school’s strengths in overall compliance in Curriculum Implementation and Positive Teacher-Child Interactions in the classroom.
All Stars Academy accepts children ages six weeks through twelve years of age. Our operational hours are Monday thru Friday 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. We offer Full-time and Seasonal Program options. We offer secured access to our campus by a security pin access code given only by the parent or guardian of the student. We also provide an on site security system as an additional benefit for our families. Included in our tuition our families receive USDA Breakfast, morning snack, USDA Lunch, afternoon snack and beverages; all ordered and prepared on-site, which is documented and distributed each month on our menu.
We also provide our parents with monthly newsletters and a parent information board. We provide an on-site notary by appointment from our director to our families at no additional charge.
Extracurricular Recreation Facilities
We offer several extracurricular activities including swimming lessons, soccer shots, gymnastics, and Spanish. We also provide 4 separate fully-equipped playgrounds for our Infants and Toddlers, preschool, GA Pre-K4, and after school students. We also have an open playground used for soccer, volleyball, and other field events.
Award-Winning Staff & Facilities
ASA also provides on-site annual training for our staff and other individuals in our local community. We host our infants, from six weeks through three years of age, in our Infant/Toddler building, which has their dedicated Infant/Toddler playground reserved only for that building.
We prepare daily a written communication form describing each child’s individual day. Each student is issued an individual bin, crib or nap mat that we place a photograph of the student on to store their personal item.
As the students show interest, we also partner with our families to begin and complete the potty training experience with them.
Each teacher is required by ASA to complete 10 hours of training in addition to the 10 hours required by the state. They are also required to have a formal credential in Early Childhood Education. We also provide online training modules for our preschool staff.
All teachers must prepare and document their classroom lesson plans according to the Georgia Early Learning Standards, and for our Preschool students the Georgia Content Standards, each week for administration and parent review. Teachers use Assessment tools to base children’s progress and use that as the base line for planning the skills needed to progress in each domain.
All teachers have their photograph and autobiography posted outside of the classroom for our families benefit and knowledge.
Each ASA team member is CPR and First Aid certified.
